I'm feeling really great about my progress. The Lord is speaking to me so much through His Word. Refining me. Changing my heart towards my family. God is doing so much healing there. I'm being more present. Lots of asking the Holy Spirit what's this about? How do I respond? What do you want to do in this situation?

So great. I'm being a friend to myself. Taking care of me. I could go on! I'm so so thankful to be on this journey and not looking back. It's hard to go through those painful sessions but so worth the freedom!

Elissa, to start off, I just want to let you know that you're absolutely incredible. And I mean that in the most fundamental sense of the word. It's been approximately 8 years since my divorce from my abuser and my children's father, and it's still incredibly challenging for me to share the details of what happened, especially since he was a skilled manipulator and narcissist.

The community you're building for survivors like us is truly awe-inspiring. I mean 'awe-some' in its purest form! I've been following your work for the past few years, and I must say, you're making a tremendous impact. There were times when I thought my experiences weren't 'as bad' as others, and I hesitated to speak out.

You're single-handedly changing that perception, and I think that's something to be immensely proud of. And trust me, I'm not one to easily admit when I'm wrong – I'm pretty stubborn! Keep doing what you're doing.
